acquistato e ristrutturato nel 2018. Viaggiando per l&#8217;Europa in camper alla ricerca di case in vendita, io e mio padre ci siamo imbattuti in questo gioiello e non ci siamo pi\u00f9 voltati indietro.<\/p>\n<p>Siamo partiti con l&#8217;ambizione di ridare vita all&#8217;immobile e trasformarlo in una casa lontano da casa. Da allora il progetto \u00e8 cresciuto, gli ospiti sono diventati alcuni dei nostri amici pi\u00f9 cari e la propriet\u00e0 \u00e8 pi\u00f9 viva che mai.<\/p>\n<p>Anche se l&#8217;agriturismo diventa pi\u00f9 popolare e la lista delle cose da fare si allunga, il mio obiettivo sar\u00e0 sempre quello di evolvere in linea con le filosofie di base che ci hanno portato qui in primo luogo:  <strong>trattare gli ospiti<\/strong> come una famiglia,  <strong>innovare<\/strong> in modo da rendere le cose pi\u00f9 divertenti e, cosa pi\u00f9 importante, innovare in modo da rendere le cose pi\u00f9 divertenti,  <strong>condividere<\/strong> il nostro amore per  <strong>buon vino<\/strong> e  <strong>buon cibo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tutto questo non sarebbe possibile senza la spinta e il duro lavoro del nostro fantastico staff, la maggior parte del quale \u00e8 presente fin dall&#8217;inizio del progetto. Viaggiando per l&#8217;Europa in camper alla ricerca di case in vendita, io e mio padre ci siamo imbattuti in questo gioiello e non ci siamo pi\u00f9 voltati indietro.<\/p>\n<p>Siamo partiti con l&#8217;ambizione di ridare vita all&#8217;agriturismo e trasformarlo in una casa lontano da casa. Da allora il progetto \u00e8 cresciuto, gli ospiti sono diventati alcuni dei nostri amici pi\u00f9 cari e la propriet\u00e0 \u00e8 pi\u00f9 viva che mai.<\/p>\n<p>Anche se l&#8217;agriturismo diventa pi\u00f9 popolare e la lista delle cose da fare si allunga, il mio obiettivo sar\u00e0 sempre quello di evolvere in linea con le filosofie di base che ci hanno portato qui in primo luogo:  <strong>trattare gli ospiti<\/strong> come una famiglia, <strong>innovare<\/strong> in modo da rendere le cose pi\u00f9 divertenti e, soprattutto, <strong>condividere<\/strong> il nostro amore per il <strong>buon vino<\/strong> e il <strong>buon cibo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tutto questo non sarebbe possibile senza la spinta e il duro lavoro del nostro fantastico staff, la maggior parte del quale \u00e8 presente fin dall&#8217;inizio del progetto. Questo statuto \u00e8 il pi\u00f9 antico del suo genere scritto in italiano (tradizionalmente gli statuti erano scritti in latino), e contiene ordini stabiliti e giurati dagli stessi abitanti del castello che governavano Travale e che alla fine costituirono l&#8217;unit\u00e0 costituzionale del futuro comune. Questo documento \u00e8 considerato la <strong>prima testimonianza<\/strong> della formazione della <strong>lingua italiana<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h6>Giacomo Papocchi &#8211; Il Santo Patrono di Montieri<\/h6>\n<p>Nel 1242 un giovane minatore locale, Giacomo Papocchi, fu accusato di aver rubato l&#8217;argento dalle miniere. \u00c8 stato condannato all&#8217;amputazione della mano destra e del piede sinistro. Il consenso storico raggiunto, tuttavia, \u00e8 che Giacomo non era un ladro. Era semplicemente un &#8220;Montierino&#8221; che, come ogni buon e vero &#8220;Montierino&#8221;, si ribellava allo sfruttamento oppressivo dei poteri influenti di Volterra e Siena. Giacomo cerca di cancellare il suo crimine agli occhi del suo Dio e conclude che il modo migliore per farlo \u00e8 imprigionarsi in una cella vicino alla chiesa che sovrasta il villaggio. Si pent\u00ec in questo modo per 46 anni. Mor\u00ec santamente il<sup>28<\/sup> dicembre 1289 e divenne il <strong>patrono<\/strong> del villaggio.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h6>Riprende l&#8217;attivit\u00e0 estrattiva<\/h6>\n<p>Nel <strong><sup>XIV<\/sup><\/strong> secolo<b>,<\/b> l&#8217;argento cominci\u00f2 ad esaurirsi. Montieri visse un periodo buio fino alla seconda met\u00e0 del<sup>XVIII<\/sup> secolo, quando un famoso minerologo, Giovanni Arduino, scopr\u00ec qui il <strong>rame<\/strong> e apr\u00ec alcune miniere, tra cui le Carbonaie situate in localit\u00e0 Prategiano a Montieri. L&#8217;attivit\u00e0 mineraria conobbe un nuovo boom all&#8217;inizio del 1900, quando la Montecatini S.p.A. inizi\u00f2 a scavare rame e, successivamente, <strong>pirite<\/strong><b>.<\/b> Questo port\u00f2 a un altro boom economico per la zona: fu costruita una ferrovia per trasportare il minerale da Montieri a Piombino, dove veniva lavorato. I resti di questa ferrovia sono visibili ancora oggi.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h6>Il futuro di Montieri<\/h6>\n<p>L&#8217;ultima miniera, quella di Campiano, ha chiuso i battenti nel <strong>1994<\/strong><b>.<\/b> Campiano \u00e8 vicino al paese di Boccheggiano ed \u00e8 visibile dall&#8217;hotel. Da allora, Montieri ha attraversato un periodo di transizione. Negli ultimi 30 anni molti giovani sono fuggiti verso i pascoli pi\u00f9 verdi delle citt\u00e0, dove \u00e8 possibile trovare lavoro.  <\/p>\n<p>Negli ultimi tempi, per\u00f2, la situazione \u00e8 tornata a migliorare. Il <strong>turismo<\/strong> \u00e8 cresciuto grazie alle sue bellezze naturali, con la nascita regolare di nuovi agriturismi e alberghi, e i servizi sono cresciuti di pari passo. Le belle giornate invernali si fanno ancora sentire, ma questa stagione \u00e8 riservata a chi ama la pace e la tranquillit\u00e0 della stagione invernale.  <\/p>\n<p>Da <strong>aprile a maggio<br \/><\/strong>Tempo ideale per la primavera. Spesso secco, 5-10 giorni di pioggia al mese. La temperatura varia da 5 a 25 gradi Celsius. Perfetto per chi ama le attivit\u00e0 all&#8217;aria aperta o desidera ammirare la natura verde e rigogliosa della primavera.  <\/p>\n<p>Da <strong>giugno ad agosto<br \/><\/strong>Alta stagione estiva. Molto secco e soleggiato, con temperature comprese tra 15 e 30 gradi.  <\/p>\n<p>Da <strong>settembre a novembre<br \/><\/strong>A volte estiva, a volte autunnale, una stagione splendidamente imprevedibile che pu\u00f2 cambiare da un giorno all&#8217;altro. Le temperature scendono leggermente a circa 10-28 gradi e si verificano occasionali rovesci di pioggia. Ma nel complesso \u00e8 una delle stagioni migliori per visitare l&#8217;hotel, perch\u00e9 il verde inizia a riprendere vita dopo la cottura estiva.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Novembre-dicembre<br \/><\/strong>Clima invernale freddo e accogliente, pioggia occasionale.
